Nissan e-POWER is a unique electrified vehicle technology that pairs a petrol engine with a lithium ion battery. However, the electric motor alone drives the wheels. It performs similarly to an EV by delivering instant torque, reduced tailpipe emissions, and lower running costs compared to a traditional engine. e-POWER also removes the need to plug-in as the petrol engine produces energy that charges the battery.
Nissan currently offer two popular e-POWER models; the Nissan X-Trail e-POWER & the Nissan Qashqai e-POWER.
As the name implies, All-Electric vehicles rely entirely on an electric battery for power. EVs feature much larger batteries compared to hybrids, providing a significantly greater all-electric driving range.
