Where you will find honesty, trust & impeccable standards
Established more than 80 years ago, Eddie Wright is a family-run, friendly and reliable used car supermarket that puts all your needs and requirements first.
Whatever you’re looking for in your next vehicle, we’re bound to have something to suit. That’s because we have an extensive collection, featuring a choice of up to 700 used cars. This, along with a strong commitment to quality, high standards of maintenance, expert car servicing and value, means we’re the only place you’d ever need to visit for used cars.
Eddie Wright was established in 1933, making us one of the oldest family motor dealers in the UK. The company has always been owned and run by the Wright family, which is perhaps why we have been so successful for so long. Care is taken over every single detail so that our customers keep coming back. Presently Jane and Paul Wright, the third generation of the Wright family, are still involved in the day-to-day running of the business.
The company has a long-standing history within both the local community and the motor trade as a whole. Founder Eddie Wright opened the first Ford dealership in Scunthorpe in the late 1940s, followed by a Volkswagen dealership in the 1950s and the first Renault dealership in Scunthorpe in the 1960s. The family then decided to open a motorcycle dealership on Gilliat Street, Scunthorpe, in the 1950s selling Velocette, Matchless and Ariel bikes.
As an award-winning, family-run car supermarket, it is our intention to deliver immaculate used cars and vans while giving a fabulous customer experience. We aim to do this through employing the most dedicated and qualified staff, and by hand-picking all of our cars and vans at the most competitive prices. This enables us to pass these great savings on to our customers, without compromising quality.
We pride ourselves on offering exceptional value for money and research our prices regularly, so you can be confident that you're getting a great deal when you buy a used vehicle from Eddie Wright.
