Eddie Wright help Scunthorpe General Hospital, Disney Ward

Eddie Wright Latest News

The bumped and battered motorists of North Lincolnshire have given the childrens ward at the Scunthorpe General Hospital a little lift.

The Disney Ward at the hospital was the beneficiary of a charity dent removal day staged by top used car dealership Eddie Wright to celebrate the opening of the firm’s high-tech new vehicle repair centre.

The event turned out to be a winner and as a result the firm’s Managing Director Jane Wright has been able to hand over a £500 wad of cash to the Disney Ward. The money will be used to buy equipment, toys and treats for the ward’s young patients.

Jane said: “The dent day was a big hit with local drivers and there’s no doubt people liked the fact that their donations were doing to Disney.”

“The day was one of a number of things that we are doing to give something back to the community as part of our 75th year celebrations.”
