TV Celebrity Gets Inside Track From Local Expert

TV celebrity Penny Mallory, presenter from the Men and Motor’s Channel’s, Used Car Road Show, recently got some vital tips from local expert Mike Alsop on how to give the car buying public a great deal – and to get sold signs on as many cars as possible.

Recent figures show that one in four drivers now buy a used vehicle, with only one in twelve buying a new car.

“Penny was a very able student, and after some on the spot training sold her first car, a Ford Mondeo, after only a few hours” says Mike Alsop, “she had a very natural aptitude to talk to customers and was really interested in the type of cars they were looking for”.

And not only that, Mike, who is the General Manager for the Eddie Wright Car Supermarket, Scunthorpe, was filmed for the TV show while he was coaching the star.

The scenes of the “Teach in” will be shown on the Used Car Road Show during September and with the award winning Car Supermarket’s 700 cars as a backdrop, it should be excellent viewing. Running as high as No. 2 in the Men and Motors rating the show is now pulling in around 85,000 per show.
