Eddie Wright Car Supermarket- 80 years Past and Present

Eddie Wright has been established since 1933 making us one of the oldest family motor dealers in the UK. The company has always been owned and run by the Wright family which is perhaps we have been so successful for so long. Care is taken over every single detail so that our customers keep coming back. Presently Jane and Paul Wright the 3rd generation of the Wright family are still involved in the day to day running of the business.

The company has a long standing history within both the local community and the motor trade as a whole. Founder, Eddie Wright opened the first Ford dealer in Scunthorpe in the late 1940's, followed by a Volkswagen dealer in the 1950's and the first Renault dealer in Scunthorpe in the 1960's. The family then decided to open a motorcycle dealership, this was opened on Gilliat Street, Scunthorpe in the 1950's selling Velocette, Matchless and Ariel motorcycles.

As a family it is our intention to deliver immaculate used cars and vans giving a fabulous customer experience every time! We aim to do this through employing the most dedicated and qualified staff. We handpick all the cars and vans at the most competitive prices, enabling us to pass these great savings onto our customers, without compromising quality.

We have recently been voted "Best used car retailer of the year" at the 2012 AM Awards. What Car voted us "10/10 for Customer Service". Our website received "Highly Commended" status at the Car Dealer awards in 2011 coming runner up to Tesco. As an award winning, family run car supermarket, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional value for money on all our cars and vans.
